pray for group orientation

tonight is orientation for the Victory Over Sexual Sin: Women’s Edition. a new lifeline support group at the church in which i will be facilitating and leading. i ask for your prayers right now. i do not have any registrations yet, but orientation will go on as planned, in hopes that i have some walk-ups. i know the topic is incredibly sensitive and takes a lot of courage to face. i am praying for that very courage for the women who need a group like this. i’ve been where they are and i just hope that the promotion over the last 3 weeks has at least opened some eyes and brought a sense of freedom to women who thought they were alone. i don’t feel as though my call to start this group was for no reason. i definitely feel the Lord is up to something. and i’m trusting Him with that.

i ask that you unite in prayer with me today.

my prayer right now is that even if only 1 woman shows up tonight, it will be a sweet time of sharing and honesty. and the beginning of a healing transformation for that woman. that the words i speak would be completely God-led. this very well may be a lonely battle i am about to walk into and i ask for your prayers of protection over myself and over the women who may be involved.
